Non-EU/EFTA citizens : entitled to unemployment benefits after the end of your PhD or postdoc contract?

I am pleased to inform you that I will be giving a workshop on non-EU/EFTA PhD's and Post-PhD's and the right to unemployment benefits at the end of their work contract.

This event is organised by the EPFL Scientific Staff Association (ELSA ex ACIDE). 

The aim of the workshop is to provide more information on: 

• The status of PhD students and postdocs ;

• Questions concerning the right to unemployment benefit ("aptitude au placement") ;

• You will better understand your migration status and your rights depending on the purpose of your stay (study or work?) ;
